We love to share a treat with our guests! Here is a recipe you can enjoy at home.

Baked Chocolate Donuts


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or 1 teaspoon orange extract



    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease donut pans or cupcake pans.
    2. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder and salt in a large bowl.
    3. Melt butter in a smaller bowl. Wisk in milk, egg and extract.
    4. Slowly add the wet mixture into the flour mixture in the large bowl.
    5. Spoon the batter into pans, filling each ring about 3/4 full.
    6. Bake about 10 minutes, or until done.
    7. Cool donuts.


    Glaze, optional:

    • 6 cups confectioners' sugar
    • 4 tablespoons hot water (adjust for desired consistency)
    • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract


    Combine ingredients, mixing water in slowly to create a thick liquid. Poor over cooled donuts.
